Malabrigo Mechita

 Mechita is Malabrigo's superwash "fingering" weight yarn. Made of 100% Merino wool, Mechita is a single ply yarn that is close to their sock in size and works up beautifully in both knit and crochet. Its great for scarves, shawls, baby clothes and garments.Mechita knits up on size 2 needles at 26-30 stitches per 4 inches on needle size 1-2. We would use Mechita on a needle size 1-4 and even larger for a lacy effect. Machine wash cool, lay flat to dry; 420 yards per 100 gram hank.
